Coming soon to Horsia
PRE breeders compete in conformation shows, led by SICAB in Seville. Judges score the horse’s build and movement in set sections by age and sex, and the champions become reference stallions and mares for the breed.
Each horse is scored on separate aspects of its build (head, neck, body, limbs) and its movement at walk and trot. Foals and young horses compete in sections for their age, and the best go on to championships.
Horsia is validating its PRE conformation analysis against real SICAB scores. The goal: measure foals and follow their development to estimate which ones have the best chance of winning. We will open it once it is validated.
